WHPS Letter to Parents – IMPORTANT for Student Belongings Pick Up
We sincerely hope that this letter finds you and your family well. We are currently living in unprecedented times. There is a lot of information being sent to you in a short period of time. As members of this community, we must approach the upcoming days with patience, understanding, and a realization that we are all learning this “new” together.
WHPS is operating under the strict directives of Alberta Health Services public safety guidelines. Thus, we must be mindful of social distancing and limiting public interactions as we distribute the belongings. Thank you for your understanding.
On Monday, March 23rd, you are asked to visit WHPS to pick up a detailed orientation package. There is very important information to be shared that is vital to your child’s education. This will include information from each of your child’s teachers about how they will be learning going forward.
On Monday, March 23, one parent or guardian per household is invited to pick up personal belongings and learning materials from West Haven Public School according to the alpha schedule below. All parents will be directed to go through the bus loop and supplies will be brought out to the vehicles. Those who choose to walk will be asked to wait at the mouth of the bus loop for directions while maintaining 2 meters between all individuals. Please note that belongings may be heavy to carry and a vehicle pick-up is encouraged, which also helps maintain social distancing.
Please pay close attention to the following schedule. We ask that you try as best as possible to honour this schedule as it will ensure safe and timely access for all families.:
- A – C: 9:00am – 10:00am
