This June, Grade 7 and Grade 8 students of West Haven Public School will be studying and preparing for their final exams while Grade 9 students will be preparing for their Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs).  This year, final exams and Gr. 9 PATs will begin at 9:00am and will be written on the following days:

Tuesday, June 22nd – Language Arts
Wednesday, June 23rd – Math
Thursday, June 24th – Social Studies
Friday, June 25th – Science

Although students are required to stay at school until at least 10:30 AM each exam day, WHPS will provide the Junior High students with the option of staying at the school to attend study sessions.  Students will remain in their classroom cohorts and be supported by their classroom teachers.  If you feel that your child would benefit by studying at home after they have completed their morning final exams, please complete the form found on your Parent Powerschool Portal account and they will be allowed to leave school grounds.

Students must be cautioned that even if their parents have signed the permission for home study, this permission can be revoked by administration if they are found to be wandering the community.
